STAGING CANNOT CHANGE YOUR PROPERTY INTO SOMETHING IT IS NOT

Whether you are a real estate agent or property owner you need to know that home staging is not going to change a property into something that it is not.  The process of home staging is to put your property's best foot forward and to elminate objections and distractions.  Try as I may and as much as I would like to boast that I can make a $100,000 property look like it's worth $300,000 I cannot, but what I can do is make that property stand head and shoulders above the rest of the properties in that price point, within your time frame and within your budget.  I will make recommendations and assist you with the decision making process and help you establish priorities so that you get the biggest bang possible for your buck.   

What will staging do for you?  Home stagers will assess your property on the outside and on the inside.  We will look at landscaping, visual clutter, minor repairs, lighting, color selection, furniture placement just to name a few.  We will make suggestions that will improve the marketability of your property but we cannot promise you that you will receive the exact amount of money you spent in return.  What will happen, in most cases, is that you will sell more quickly and if priced appropriately sell close to the asking price if not the full asking price.  Another thing you will do is reduce your carrying cost and be able to move on with your life.  You decide if that is what you want and if it is then hire a reputable, accredited, experienced, insured home stager. 

                                                                                                                

               

At StageRight Home Staging we are dedicated to customer service.  Our services include consultations for home staging as well as actual staging services.  We stage occupied and vacant properties, we provide move in decorating, staging to live (redesign using your own stuff), home organization and downsizing services, color selection and project management for remodels and upgrades.  We are Accredited Staging Professionals, members of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) and the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Board of Realtors. StageRight Home Staging developed a program that has been approved by the State of Michigan for continuing education for realtors.

StageRight has a preferred REALTOR™ program for realtors with whom we collaborate on-a-regular bases.  We hold quarterly Lunch and Learn programs for agents in our service area to keep them up on our industry, what works, what doesn't.  We write a monthly newsletter, I teach Staging to sell and Staging to live classes at the local community college at their Life Long Learning Center (Kellogg Community College),have written a weekly article for our local paper titled Ready for Market.  We are a Family Partner for Habitat for Humanity as well as supporters of the Pet Friendly efforts of the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.  As the owner I am a regular blogger trying very hard to encourage staging throughout south west Michigan.
