Welcome to EnergizedSeller.com. A lot of smart and energized people have worked hard at getting this site off the ground and we're very glad you're here. To begin, we hope you'll get familiar with the site, determine what areas will be beneficial to you, join, and then contribute. Even if you don't contribute, we hope you'll use the site as a resource and learning tool. Plus, it's free - how great is that?!

Please note that this site is still under construction and that over the few months you will see more updates. In the mean time, let us walk you through some of the sections of this site. First, we would encourage you to check out the Discussion Topics. There are at least 35 areas of a home that a home owner should consider when selling their home. This section gives great overviews of those areas, is for posting specific, related questions, reading answers to other people's questions, and/or posting your own helpful answers.

Second, check out the Blog section. Read through some of the postings on the blog for general home selling advice and miscellaneous helpful information. Right now the blogs are more like articles you'd read on the Internet or in print. Soon, the blogs will be categorized and it will be easier to find the information that is more relevant to your needs. If you have an article that you think would be helpful to the visitors of the site, this is the place to post it. Just let us know and we'll set up a blog for your own helpful information.

Third, check out the contests section. Just for becoming a member you are entered into a $500 drawing for a Lowes or Home Depot gift card. Or, if you have a funny pet that might look a little scary to others then post their picture here. Finally, if you want to learn more about us, then check out the About Us page.

Again, there's still more to come; so stay tuned. For now, please enjoy, learn and tell all of your friends.

Is This Cat Too Scary To Leave In a House for Showings?

Inspired by a member's post asking if their cat was too scary to leave in their home for showings (see post here) we decided to have a contest asking for the scariest/funny pet pictures members have. We all love our pets, but some pets really are a little frightful to be leaving in a home while it is being shown. So, if you have one of those pets, take a picture, submit it on our Scariest Pet Contest Forum, and see if other members agree. You could win a $500 gift certificate! (See contest rules here) Oh yeah, while you're checking out the post that inspired the contest, don't forget to vote on whether or not you actually think the cat is too scary to leave in the home.

When selling your home, or anything for that matter, it is important to know your market. This lady clearly doesn't know her market, and she's paying the price for it. :) If you're selling your home, work with people who know yours.
