Kate started Kate's Home Staging and Redesign as a formal business in 2009. For the past five years, I had been helping family and friends design their homes, pick out furniture, get their homes ready for Open Houses, and pick out paint colors for their walls, decide on their kitchen cabinet, etc. I became the "unoffical" design expert and was spending a great deal of time helping everyone and it turns out I really had a knack for this. So, this year I decided to take it a step further and take some formal design training at Spaces School of Interior Redesign and the Home Staging Resource Home Staging Certification Courses. I really enjoyed these classes and they basically just confirmed what I had been doing all along.
