Repair damage to walkways and porches around your house. Pay particular attention to those areas that lead to the front door. Cracked concrete, brick or stone can sometimes indicate foundation problems, and that is not the first thing you want potential buyers to wonder about. Buyers have a tendency to think the worst.

If only part of a walkway is damaged, it may be possible to replace or repair that individual section rather than the entire walkway. If you want an efficient little upgrade, consider installing a stamped concrete walkway, porch or patio to increase the aesthetic appeal.

Pressure wash all walkways and porches. Rust or mold stains that can’t be removed by pressure washing generally can be treated with bleach. If there are motor oil stains on your driveway, get rid of them by using a solution made for that purpose. These tasks will give your home a nice clean look and improve your home’s curb appeal.
