When selling a home it's always important to showcase the focal points and purpose of any room.  Often while living in a home our furniture placement isn't optimal when showcasing the room for selling.  Play with your furniture arrangements for maximum results by repositioning the furniture to feature the selling points of the room.  It's only a temporary "discomfort" if you don't like it for yourself however, it's important to show buyers what they're getting!

Hi Karen - before you didn't even notice the fireplace and after it is the first thing you see in these photos.  Nice job on furnitue arrangement after as it creates great balance and flow.  Thank you for sharing.

Great furniture arrangement!

The stager's challenge is always the dual pull of the architectural focal point ( the fireplace) and the lifestyle focal point ( the T.V.) You've done a terrific job arranging the furniture to accommodate both focal points while increasing the most important focus by placing the artwork above the fireplace. Great job as usual Karen!

Perfect re-arrangement of furniture.  It amazes me how many homes are hiding their fireplaces.  I really like how the table leads your eye right to the focal point, nicely done.
