What does a homeowner do when they need to sell their house and it's full of far too many outdated furnishings, and their budget is too tight to rent furniture? Staging The Essentials came to the rescue to help this soon to be San Marino, CA home seller get their house in shape to sell. We quicklly went about telling them which pieces of furniture (a lot) would need to go and which could stay. Adding a little expert furniture rearranging, additional accessories and now you have a home that's ready to take on the competition.
The rooms, now transformed through our home staging, seem effortlessly gorgeous. The key is making the rooms look as if they have always been this way - simply elegant!
BELOW- THE MASTER BEDROOM BEFORE & AFTER.
The homeowner chose not to remove the unused curtain rods. We added lighter curtain sheers to lighten and brighten the room.

Using only the owner's furniture and adding our accessories turned this master bedroom around. We removed the footboard and side boards of the bed in order to update the appearance of the master bedroom.
BEFORE & AFTER STAGING THE DINING ROOM. (BELOW) Again, the challenge was using only the homeowner's furniture, while adding our accessories. We helped the homeowner with deciding what furniture should stay and what could leave in each of the rooms.

Great job Michelle!
I always think it's a greater challenge to stage an occupied home. Did the homeowners even realize they were covering the best selling asset in two different rooms? THE FIREPLACES?
I've got to say the person who invents a tall backed lazy boy recliner that is stylish will make a fortune!

RESA
Karen - Those poor fireplaces were almost non-existent until we came along to reveal them as the star's of the room. Sort of makes you feel like you're turning coal into diamonds - What fun!
