Amazing Job! Well worth all the hard work. You will love spending time here. Let me know when the next party is!

Good job Ali. This looks MUCH better. Are you also going to fix up the landscaping around the pool?

Is it OK to put fake flowers or plants in flower beds when selling? Living in a state where the sun is brutal in the summer on seasonal flowers (and water restrictions abound) sometimes I feel this is the only option. Would leaving the beds bare be better than putting fake flowers in?

I was helping some friends over the weekend work on miscellaneous projects at their vacation home in South Texas (notice the newly refurbished deck :)). Good idea to take it in stages! It certainly looks different, and I think it will look good with flowers in the spring. Happy gardening!

I am not particularly a fan of foundation plantings, and when I realized a few years ago that there isn't a rule that every house must have a hedge of bushes, I tore all my bushes out (except my azaleas...) Your bushes are covering up part of the windows, and you might consider replacing them with...

I like the landscaping border you've chosen and the answer above is right in line with what I'd recommend as well. One thing I do often recommend is to trim the hedges to just below the window so as not to obscure the inside vision out when selling. The bushes look healthy neat and trim and if...
