This dining area was very dark with navy blue wallpaper and a too large dining set and the kitchen was all white - floors, cabinets, ceiling. So we stripped the wall paper and painted the walls in a nice brightening neutral; Sherwin Williams "Plateau" and then painted the cabinets a couple...

As a REALTOR®, communicating on a regular basis with the seller is a crucial component of the listing's success. And, as I have so often found from experience, sellers who have mentally made the transition from "home owner - to - home seller" have a much easier time accepting advice...

I am a stager and on of the most difficult things to deal with is the wall colors if they need to be painted. Depending on the carpet color and decor sometime I get into taupe carpet and oak cabinets. It takes time to constantly decide what a good color would be. Great to get some help.

Yes, thank you for bringing this to our attention. It is very interesting. I watched a how to video and of course the results looked easy and professional. What about painting the ice maker and handles on a white refrigerator. It seems the ice maker, in particular, would look odd if it remained white...

We desperately need to make the sport court look better before putting the house on the market. Has anyone had any experience with painting a sport court? Is there a secret to painting the straight lines - other than using tape? Is it something my husband and I can do easily enough?

Hi L., I'd do some very very very inxpensive art. I don't know is you are crafty, but this project is as easy as it gets, and will cost you maybe $45 bucks to make & install. You can customize the size it to your interesting long areas. It will feature the fireplace as well as the height...

You are wise to address this. I would recommend painting this the color of the trim (baseboards & moulding) in the room and replacing or repairing the mantle along with getting a nice fire screen. This is most likely the focal point in the room. You will have to speak to one of the professionals...
