Laurie Calhoun is co-owner of Gloria Home Staging, Inc. She and her partner, Susan Stevens, come alongside homeowners and realtors to make homes quick to sell, and beautiful to live in. They use their knowledge, resources, and creativity to present homes at their best, so that they will be appealing and exciting to prospective buyers. They are also committed to helping find ways to make the home-marketing process more organized and less stressful for homeowners and real estate professionals.

There is a big difference between a home that is being lived in and one that is ready to sell. Home staging is the important process of making your home exciting and attractive to buyers. Home stagers change lived-in homes into marketable products by presenting them in their finest light to bring in the highest selling price. They set the stage for the buyers by creating an environment that appeals to the buyers’ emotions and fantasies of what their lives could be like if they lived in the house: “I can see myself living here! I want to live here!”
