The children and their toys had overtaken much of the space in this beautiful and spacious loft in the Chelsea area of New York City.
The owners also admitted that after moving in several years ago, they did nothing to decorate the space.
Now that they were putting it on the market, they realized they had to do something to make it appealing to potential buyers.
So, they packed up all of the toys in this combo den/office…
…and Designed to Appeal turned it into the den it deserved to be by bringing in rental furniture, decluttering the bookcase, and bringing in some decorative accessories to supplement the owner’s.

The master bedroom looked like a college dorm room…

…until we made it into an oasis of rest and relaxation.

The living room looked like more of a playroom, rather than a place to relax and watch TV.

So the owners moved out the toys and we spruced it up with some colorful decorative accents.

The bathroom shared by the children was cluttered with so much of their bath toys and toiletries, it would be hard for a buyer without children to envision themselves using this space.

So the owners decided to move everything out and use only the master bathroom. We brought in some bath items and towels to make the place feel like a spa.

Last but not least, just because a powder room is small and utilitarian in purpose, shouldn’t mean it doesn’t deserve attention.

So we gave it the attention it deserved.
